About the press
HenDragon Press was created by self-published author and backyard chicken enthusiast, Monica Draudt (pen name Onika Howdyn). Originally meant as an umbrella to house her epic fantasy novels, Monica wanted to create a space for authors to grow, thrive and make their dreams of publication come true.
The press is dedicated to bringing fantastic fairy tales and unconventional fantasy stories to life under the guidance and support that only a murder of HenDragon’s can bring.
The first anthology
Through Field and Forests is a collaborative anthology featuring a collection stories written and inspired by Aesop’s fables. The anthology will be the first offical project of the press. We will be open for submissions in early 2025.
